According to legends, local farmers in the French spoken mountain area set up a camp. The cheese that was laying around on stones at dinner time, melted near the open fire. Farmers thought it was a great way to eat the cheese and there started the tradition of melting Raclette for winter meals. Raclette is considered as the best cheese to be melted on top of bread, potatoes & bacon, zucchini, steak… Enjoy its fruity taste!
