Our artisanal, fresh Italian Mozzarella Ovolini is made from cow's milk rather than buffalo milk. It is smaller than the standard Mozzarella and is “ovoline” or “egg shaped”. Mozzarella Ovolini has a high moisture content, with a texture that is firmer and flavor that is milder than buffalo mozzarella. It has a slightly off-white color. Nevertheless, it has a very creamy taste. Each pack comes with 2 balls of ovolini.
